Warranty and Return Policy Information


  • Voltaic GENERAL LIMITED WARRANTY (This warranty applies to all new Voltaic products excluding parts, and accessories)

 All new Voltaic products carry a 1 year limited warranty policy. 

The Voltaic One-Year Limited Warranty is a voluntary manufacturer’s warranty.

Please note: All claims made under the Voltaic One-Year Limited Warranty will be governed by the terms set out in this warranty document.

Your Voltaic product (“Product”) is warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of ONE (1) YEAR from the date of original retail purchase (“Warranty Period”) when used in accordance with Voltaic `s user manuals. Under this warranty, you will be able to direct your claims to Voltaic even in situations where you purchased the Voltaic Product from one of our authorized retailers. If a defect arises during the Warranty Period, Voltaic at its option will

 (1) repair or replace the Product at no charge using new parts or parts that are equivalent to new in performance and reliability,

 (2) provide replacement new parts or parts that are equivalent to new in performance and reliability, or

 (3) refund the original purchase price (for ridevoltaic.com orders only). This warranty excludes normal depletion of consumable parts such as batteries, throttles, kickstands, lights and other external components, unless failure has occurred due to a defect in materials or workmanship and, damage resulting from abuse, accident, modifications, unauthorized repairs or other causes that are not defects in materials and workmanship.

 Any limitations of liability in this warranty document shall not apply to

 (i) death or personal injury pursuant to any mandatory law on product liability;

 (ii) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;

 (iii) intentional misconduct or gross negligence;

 (iv) or a culpable breach of major contractual obligations.  A damages claim based on a breach of major contractual obligations or gross negligence will be limited to foreseeable damage typical for the sale contract concerned.    

 To obtain warranty service, contact Voltaic using the information described at: info@glaretechusa.com with valid Proof of purchase from an authorized retailer and serial number is required to verify eligibility.

 Voltaic may restrict warranty service for products to the country where Voltaic or its Authorized Distributors originally sold the device. Voltaic will provide warranty service through one or more of the following options:

 (i) Mail-in service. If Voltaic determines that your Product is eligible for mail-in service, Voltaic will send you a prepaid label so that you may ship your Product to a Voltaic Return location. Voltaic will pay for shipping to and from your location if instructions regarding the method of packaging and shipping the Product are followed. We do not provide packing materials for returned items. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure all returns are properly packaged. The customer has 30 days to submit their prepaid package from the date of Voltaic’s creation of a prepaid label. Failure to submit the Product within the 30 days will result in the expiry of the prepaid label and the cancellation of the warranty claim. In the event that this should occur, a new warranty claim may be made by the customer.

 (ii) Do-it-yourself (DIY) parts service. DIY parts service allows you to service your own Product. If DIY parts service is available in the circumstances, the following process will apply. 

 Voltaic will provide warranty service under the following conditions:

 (1) Service where Voltaic requires return of the replaced Product or part. Voltaic may require a credit card authorization as security for the retail price of the replacement Product or part and applicable shipping costs. If you are unable to provide credit card authorization, DIY parts service may not be available to you and Voltaic will offer alternative arrangements for service. Voltaic will ship a replacement product or part to you with installation instructions, if applicable, and any requirements for the return of the replaced product or part. If you follow the instructions, Voltaic will cancel the credit card authorization, so you will not be charged for the product or part and shipping to and from your location. If you fail to return the replaced product or part as instructed or return a replaced product or part that is ineligible for service, Voltaic will charge your credit card for the authorized amount.

(2) Service where Voltaic does not require return of the replaced product or part. Voltaic will ship you free of charge a replacement product or part accompanied by instructions on installation, if applicable, and any requirements for the disposal of the replaced product or part. 

 (3) Voltaic is not responsible for any labor costs you incur relating to DIY parts service. Should you require further assistance, contact Voltaic at the telephone number listed below.

 (4) Voltaic does not provide return shipping boxes or packaging materials. It is the customers responsibility to properly package and ship device to Voltaic to avoid damage in shipping.

 (5) Voltaic will not be responsible for shipping costs, in cases where prepaid Mail-In service is Not eligible.

 (6) Voltaic does not cover minor surface blemishes, rips, tears, or other cosmetic damages due to normal use, or other intentional or unintentional damage to the product.

 (7) Voltaic does not cover products sold second hand, open box, including but not limited to floor models (unless manufacturer’s warranty approved upon date of purchase).  Refurbished equipment, equipment sold without a manufacturer’s warranty or sold “as is”.

 (8) Voltaic does not cover products manufactured more than 2 years prior to claim date (serial number).

 Service options, parts availability and response times may vary. If you require service in a country where Voltaic does not maintain an Voltaic Retail Store or Voltaic Authorized Service Provider (“AASP”), service options may be limited. If a given service option is not available for the Voltaic Product in such country, Voltaic or its agents shall notify you about any additional shipping and handling charges which may apply before rendering service. Where international service is available, Voltaic may repair or replace Products and parts with comparable Product and parts that comply with local standards. 

 If any term is held to be illegal or unenforceable, it shall be severed from this warranty and the legality or enforceability of the remaining terms shall not be affected. 

 For Canadian Consumers: Voltaic will review warranty cases and provide parts or replacement under warranty and at NO cost to the customer. However, customers are responsible for shipping costs outside of the US. Residents of Quebec are governed by that province’s consumer protection legislation.

VOLTAIC RETURN POLICY ( Domestic U.S. Customers )

 Products purchased through an authorized retailer must adhere to the return policies of the retailer or our online dealer and cannot be directly returned to Voltaic, except in cases of Warranty Claims. For products purchased through our Website, please refer to the terms and conditions outlined below.

**Return of Product Due to Defect or Shipping Mistakes (Within 30 Days):**

If you encounter a defect or receive the wrong item, we offer the choice of replacement or refund within 30 days of purchase. A prepaid shipping label will be provided at no cost to you.


**Return of New and Unused Items (Within 30 Days):**

You can return any new and unused item within 30 days of the order date for a full refund, excluding return shipping charges unless there was a shipping error on our part. We'll issue a refund using the original payment method. You are responsible for return shipping costs unless the issue is caused by Voltaic. Shipping costs are non-refundable. We require using a shipping service with a tracking number.


**Return of Used Items (Within 30 Days):**

Used items may be returned within 30 days of purchase, subject to return shipping charges and a 25% restocking fee. Electric bikes must have fewer than 20 miles on the odometer and include all accessories. Missing accessories may result in an additional restocking fee. You are responsible for return shipping costs unless the issue is caused by Voltaic. Shipping costs are non-refundable. We require using a shipping service with a tracking number.



**Return of New and Unused Items (Past 30-Day Window):**

Returns outside the 30-day window are accepted for new and unused items, subject to return shipping charges and restocking fee as below:

2 months: a customer will get a 80 % refund

3 ~ 4 months: a customer will get a 70 % refund

5 ~ 6 months: a customer will get a 60 % refund

Over 6 months: NO return and refund


**Return Used Items due to quality issues (Past 30-Day Window):**

We can only issue a repair warranty, but no refund after past 30-day window.

Customers should contact Voltaic customer service at info@glaretechusa.com. Once the return request is approved, the customer need follow below step get a RMA#. Voltaic does not offer free return labels for misusing damaged products.

1.Take a photo or video to show the bike quality problems

2.Send those evidence to Voltaic service email at Support@glaretechusa.com with your order or copy of receipt

**Return Process and Timing:**

Contact our customer support team through the "Contact Us" section of the website to initiate a return. Refunds typically appear in your original payment method within 3 business days of processing. We do not accept shipments sent cash on delivery (COD).


**No Third-Party Returns:**

Returns of items purchased from our partner stores are subject to their return policies. Contact the original place of purchase for their return procedure.


**Refused Shipments:**

Refusing delivery incurs a flat fee of $75 per product to partially cover shipping costs.
